You will not need to purchase any additional manuals or material from the site for Level 3 and 4 as it will all be included on the course platform and your level 3 and 4 magnetic materials will be sent to you with a hard copy teachers manual .
Level 3 covers Bass clef , Sharp key signatures, intervals , Octaves , semiquavers , scale construction
Level 4 extends the intervals to working within keys , covers the Flat key signatures, relative minors, triplets , semitones and tones.
The work covered will prepare your student for formal theory exams and gives a head start for GCSE music . Perfect for those who prefer to learn visually and continues to use tactile materials keeping the engagement of the student and making the learning of academic music great fun . Invaluable for instrumental teachers and great for classroom years 4,5 and 6 .using tuned percussion or other readily accessible instruments such as Ukulele , keyboard Guitar, recorder etc .
This course completes your Stave house training . The package includes your standard notation magnetic characters and the smart board files for levels 3 and 4 . The course includes bonus material of smart board files , student demonstrations and sheet music for performance . Apply for your certificate of completion once you finish each course . You will purchase the completion assessments for both levels at the same time from the on line shop but can take the assessments separately .
Level 4 offers children an academic music education without having private lessons because they can follow the programme in the classroom using the schools tuned percussion . This level is also an invaluable resource for private music teachers of any instrument .Level 4 enables your student to read in three different clefs easily , to have an understanding of key and more complex rhythms such as triplets and dotted crotchets . Level 4 is also excellent for children with learning difficulties who may find a formal written theory paper difficult , enabling them to demonstrate scales and triads and intervals and short composition in up to 5 sharps and 5 flats easily on the board and gives them a deeper understanding of how music theory actually works rather than learning answers to pass an exam .
